Abstract
This Act is enacted for the eatablishment of the the National Land Policy Committee to determine policies and plans for the management of the country's land and soil resources for the benefit of the economy, society, culture, environment, and security.
The National Land Policy Committee is responsible for oversee the management of land and soil resources of the country. The Committee consists of the Prime Minister as the chairman, the Deputy Prime Minister as the vice chairman, and other members including the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, etc.
The National Land Policy Committee's duties and powers include: ( 1) Set policies and plans for the management of land and soil resources of the country to request approval from the Cabinet; (2) Make recommendations to the Cabinet to determine measures for monitoring, inspecting, and evaluating the implementation of the country's land and soil resource management policies and plans; (3) Monitor, inspect, and evaluate the country's land use; (4) Set measures or guidelines for the fair distribution of land ownership; etc.
