Abstract
This National Village and Urban Community Fund Act, B.E. 2547, is enacted to strengthen the process of self-reliance of villages and urban communities.
The National Village and Urban Community Fund shall be established to be a source of funds for allocating revolving funds to village funds as a mechanism for people in villages or urban communities to use in career development, job creation, income generation, or increasing income and reducing expenses in the village or urban community.
In each village or urban community, there shall be a village fund to be established, called the “ Village Fund ” or “ Urban Community Fund ” , as the case may be. The village fund establishment committee shall submit an application for the establishment and registration of the village fund to the village fund registrar in accordance with the regulations set by the committee.
