Notification of Ministry of Industry regarding Industrial Effluent Standards B.E. 2560.

This Notification implements the Ministerial Regulation No. 2 B.E. 2535 (1992) issued pursuant to the Factory Act B.E.2535 (1992), aiming to improve the industrial effluent standards and their examination methods to be more appropriate and compliance to the international standards as well as to control the discharge of wastewater effluent from a factory.
Article 5 provides for the characteristics of effluent discharging from a factory. Analysis of parameters prescribed in the industrial effluent standard in Article 5 shall be conducted according to Article 6. Determination of wastewater effluent standards to be different from the standards specified in Article 5 for any specific type or kind of factory shall be in accordance with the Notification of Department of Industrial Works.
