Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 199) B.E. 2543 (2000) Re: Mineral Water.

This Notification provides for the requirements and rules relating to the mineral water. Mineral water in this Notification means mineral water which is derived from underground water resource and contained several minerals depending on source of water ( Clause 3). Mineral water shall be only produced in the area of natural water resource and may be processed before packaging as prescribed in Clause 4. Clause 5 provides for the quality requirements to be satisfied by mineral water. Remaining Clauses provide for the requirements and rules to be followed by mineral water producers or importers for sales, requirements for usage of containers, labelling, etc.
