Abstract
This Notification stipulates the requirements to be satisfied by alkaline-preserved eggs.
In this Notification, alkaline-preserved eggs mean eggs which have been processed of alkalinity, in the condition that can be consumed in this Notification. Alkaline-preserved eggs are prescribed food to have qualities or standards (Clause 1). Alkaline-preserved eggs shall be free of pathogenic microorganisms and lead shall not be detected more than 2 mg. per 1 kg of food. The Notification further covers the labelling requirements, etc.
Entry into force notes
This Notification shall enter into force on 22nd August 2001.
