Notification of the Ministry of Public Health (No. 281) B.E. 2547 (2004) Re: Food Additives.

The purpose of this Notification is to regulate food additives.
Food additives shall be specific controlled food (Clause 2). Clause 4 sets up the quality requirements to be followed by food additives. The analytical procedure for the food additives shall be in accordance with the Codex Advisory Specification for the identity and purity of food additives. The Notification further covers the use of food additives, processing and storage, packing and labelling thereof, etc.
