Abstract
There shall be ministries and government agencies with ministry status as follows: (1) Office of the Prime Minister (2) Ministry of Defense (3) Ministry of Finance (4) Ministry of Foreign Affairs (5) Ministry of Tourism and Sports (6) Ministry of Social Development and Human Security (7) Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (8) Ministry of Transport (9) Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (10) Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (11) Ministry of Energy (12) Ministry of Commerce (13) Ministry of Interior (14) Ministry of Justice (15) Ministry of Labor (16) Ministry of Culture (17) Ministry of Science and Technology (18) Ministry of Education (19) Ministry of Public Health (20) Ministry of Industry(Section 5).
The Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives has powers and duties concerning agriculture, water resource procurement and development, irrigation system promotion and development, farmer promotion and development, cooperative system promotion and development, including agricultural production processes and products, and other government affairs that the law specifies to be the power and duties of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives or government agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has powers and duties concerning forestry, conservation, preservation and rehabilitation of natural resources and the environment, sustainable utilization management, and other matters as prescribed by law to be the powers and duties of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment or government agencies under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
The Ministry of Energy has powers and duties regarding the procurement, development and management of energy and other government affairs as specified by law to be the powers and duties of the Ministry of Energy or government agencies under the Ministry of Energy.
