Abstract
This Royal Decree designates two species—the blue whale (balaenoptera musculus) and helmeted hornbill (rhinoplax vigil) as protected wildlife under the Wildlife Conservation and Protection Act B.E. 2562. The Royal Decree emphasizes Thailand’s commitment to international conservation efforts, concerning the protection of endangered species under the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES). The Minister of Natural Resources and Environment is tasked with enforcing this Royal Decree.
