Abstract
This Decree is enacted to implement the Section 8 of the Community Forest Act B.E. 2562.
The Decree stipulates the criteria, conditions and procedures for designating state land, outside protected forest areas, as community forests. The Decree specifies the roles and responsibilities of various stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and forest management committees. It emphasizes the importance of community involvement in forest management, sustainable use of forest resources, and conservation of biodiversity. The Decree also details the process for applying to establish a community forest, including the necessary documentation and approval procedures.
