Abstract
This Act provides for the establishment, capital, incomes and reserves of the Rubber Authority of Thailand (RAOT). Section 8-9 give the objectives, power and duties of RAOT. A committee called the “Rubber Authority of Thailand Committee” shall be established which has the power and duties to establish policies and exercise general supervision of RAOT’s business. The Act further provides for the measures to be taken for promotion and support for rubber plantation farmers, rubber farmer institutes and rubber business operators, including the para rubber developmen fund. The spending of the Fund’s money shall be made on an extensive and efficient basis, primarily taking into account the benefits of rubber plantation farmers.
