Abstract
This Act is enacted to determine criteria, methods , and conditions for managing state property to be appropriate in line with the economic, social, and government policy situations. The Act consists of 50 Sections.
Royal property includes: ( 1 ) All types of real estate which are state property. ( 2 ) Land that is reserved or restricted for the specific benefit of the state. ( 3 ) Land that is reserved or restricted for the benefit of the government according to law (Section 6). There shall be a committee called the State Property Committee (Section 9). The duties and powers of the Committee shall include: ( 1 ) Set policies regarding the management of state property; ( 2 ) Establishing criteria, methods, and conditions for preparing the state property register; ( 3 ) Recommend to the Minister in issuing ministerial regulations to establish criteria, methods and conditions for governing, caring for, maintaining, using and providing benefits to state property; etc. The Act further makes provisions for: preparation and registration of royal property, use, retrieval, and exploitation of state property, transfer of ownership of state property and withdrawal of state property, offences and penaltie, etc.
