Abstract
In this Agricultural Standard, sugarcane means the plant with the scientific name of Saccharum spp., Family Gramineae.
The Agricultural Standard establishes the requirements for good agricultural practices for sugarcane from planting area, to the sugar mills in order to obtain good quality, safe and suitable raw material for the industry by taking into account the environmental impact, health, safety and welfare of workers.
