Thai Vessel Act, Buddhist Era 2481 (1938).

This Act, consisting of 70 Sections divided into 9 Chapters, provides for registration and issuance of license for Thai vessels and relevant matters.
Registration of Thai vessel under this Act must be applied to the Vessel Registrar. Upon vessel registration, the Vessel Registrar shall issue a certificate of registration in the form of the Marine Department to be given to the applicant.
The Act further make provisions for: transfer of ownership of a registered Thai vessel, name of vessel, modification of vessel, change of port of registration, registration of modification, renewal of registration, special right and duty of Thai vessel, penalty provisions, etc.
