AGREEMENT BETWEEN MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND NATURE PROTECTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN AND MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, WATER ECONOMICS AND PROCESSING INDUSTRY OF THE KYRGYZ REPUBLIC ON COOPERATION IN THE FIELD OF AGRICULTURAL COMPLEX.

The Parties will carry out mutually beneficial cooperation on the basis of trust, equality and mutual benefit within the framework of their national legislation, and will also assist in the development of contacts between business of both states. Economic, scientific, technical and industrial cooperation between the Parties will be implemented in the following main areas: (a) plant growing; (b) horticulture and viticulture; (c) animal husbandry; (d) stockbreeding and poultry farming; (e) veterinary medicine; (f) biotechnology; (g) processing of fruits and vegetables, and oenological practices; (h) mechanization and automation of agricultural production; (i) development of new forms of management, exchange of experience in organizing and formation of farms, joint-stock companies, associations; and (k) training of specialists for various branches of agricultural production. Cooperation shall be carried out in the following forms: (a) symposia, fairs, seminars, exchange of statistical, scientific and technical information and results of research; (b) exchange of samples of seeds and planting materials, and exchange of livestock; (c) joint research; and (d) exchange of agricultural experts and students.
