Decree No. 21 of the Council of Ministers validating the Regulation on state control over environmental protection and management of natural resources.

This Decree establishes that state control over environmental protection and management of natural resources shall have as its purpose to ensure compliance of competent state institutions, public and social enterprises and associations, natural persons and foreign legal and natural persons with the requirements of the national environmental legislation, environmental standards and other rules and regulations, and also performance of the arrangements for environmental protection and management of natural resources. It lists competent public bodies authorized to perform inspections with a view of verification of the presence of license for emissions, discharge of pollutants, waste disposal and management of natural resources.
