Abstract
The Renewable Energy Sources Program for 2023-2027" was developed for the purpose of efficient use of the country's energy resources through renewable energy sources, increasing new generating energy capacities and conducting educational and scientific research in the development of the country's energy sector. This Program promotes the efficient use of energy resources through renewable energy sources. energy sources, such as sunlight, wind energy, biomass, water, as well as establishing accurate research into energy resources, expanding the use of innovative technologies using local raw materials. The Program helps to improve the socio-economic level of the population, protect the environment, and provides favorable conditions for training highly qualified specialists in remote areas. This Program is aimed at achieving one of the country's strategic goals, that is, achieving energy independence. The planned activities of the Program include priority areas for the development of the energy sector and the study of modern science and technology.
The main objectives of the Program are: (a) efficient use of renewable energy sources; (b) improving the quality of electricity and heat supply to remote, high-mountain villages and areas vulnerable to a reliable centralized power supply; (c) increasing the country’s generating energy capacity through renewable energy sources; (d) improving the social situation of the population of remote and high-mountain villages; (e) development of important sectors of the economy of remote and high mountain areas; (f) environmental protection and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere; (g) development of tourism in remote and high mountain regions; (h) increasing the contribution of remote areas to the country’s food security through the creation of small and medium-sized production enterprises in these areas; (i) creation of new jobs; (j) improving the standard of living of the population in remote and high mountain areas; (k) constant monitoring of new technological processes in the field of developing renewable energy sources and strengthening science and production; (l) assistance in reducing the dependence of the country’s energy system on the operation of large hydroelectric power plants; (m) contribution to the practical implementation of sustainable development goals defined by the United Nations; (n) contribution to the implementation of global processes, in particular climate change; (o) recommendation of educational and research work in the development of energy resources; (p) updating the technology and ensuring its widespread use in power plants and energy facilities; and (q) increasing the level of knowledge of technical specialists in the energy sector.
