Governmental Decree No. 335 validating the Regulation on the procedure for keeping the State Register of Tourism Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The procedure for keeping the State Register of Tourism Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan defines the management process, registration, collection of information and issuance of a certificate of the status of tourist sites of the Republic of Tajikistan, and is designed to regulate the effective use, protection and presentation of unique historical and cultural, natural and tourism resources of the Republic of Tajikistan. State Register of Tourism Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan embraces the country's tourism potential and includes natural objects, scientific, historical and cultural sites, which are the national treasure of the Republic of Tajikistan, and which form the basis of the national tourism products of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Register is used to obtain the information necessary for visiting by foreign and domestic tourists, conducting scientific research, environmental activities, organization of statistical accounting for the further compilation of new tourist routes in the Republic of Tajikistan. The Register shall eb elaborated and administered by the authorized state institution in the field of tourism. The Register shall contain the following information: (a) names of objects; (b) estimated value of historical, cultural and scientific significance of the objects, indicating their subordination, determined by the relevant ministries and departments; (c) information about the sanitary-ecological state; and (d) description of the location.
