Governmental Decree No. 438 validating Protocol between the Food Security Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Russian Federation) on compliance with phytosanitary requirements when imported into the Russian Federation of fruit and vegetable products of high phytosanitary risk from Republic of Tajikistan.

Food Security Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary supervision (Russian Federation), hereinafter referred to as the Parties, in order to ensure phytosanitary security of the territories of the states of the Parties and to strengthen cooperation in the field of plant quarantine, agreed on the following: (a) import into the Russian Federation of consignments of fruit and vegetable products of high phytosanitary risk from the Republic of Tajikistan; (b) cooperation for ensuring plant quarantine; and (c) ensuring the control of the phytosanitary safety of fruit and vegetable products of high phytosanitary risk during their production, movement, preparation for shipment and phytosanitary certification. Vehicles, containers, packaging materials used in the export of fruit and vegetable products of high phytosanitary risk are preliminarily cleaned and/or, if necessary, disinfected before loading.
