Governmental Decree No. 597 validating the Regulation on the State Supervision Service over Public Health and Social Protection of the Population.

State Supervision Service over Public Health and Social Protection of the Population is the executive body of the state power of the Republic of Tajikistan, which performs the state supervision over medical activity and social protection of the population, pharmaceutical and sanitary-epidemiological activity in the Republic of Tajikistan. It exercises expertise, standardization, certification and supervision over quality compliance of food additives, mineral water, foodstuffs for special dietary uses and infant food. It takes part in mitigation of the consequences of natural and ecological disasters that represent risks for human life and health.
