Agency for Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Trade Inspection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan is the central executive authority and implements the state policy in the field of standardization, metrology, certification, provision of state supervision and control over implementation and compliance with the requirements of standards and technical regulations, quality of raw materials and products, ensuring the uniformity of measurements and trade rules at enterprises, organizations, trade, agriculture. In particular, it exercises state control and supervision over the quality of cotton and silk, and produce manufactured therefrom and performs consumer protection.
