Law “On external economic activity.”

This Law regulates external economic activity of Tajikistan ensuring protection of rights, interests and property of the participants of external economic activity in accordance with the provisions of international law. Objects of external economic activity shall be commodities, services and objects of intellectual property. The Act consists of 4 Sections divided into 20 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) realization of external economic activity; (3) state regulation; and (4) guarantees of rights and liability of the subjects of external economic activity. Subjects of external economic activity shall carry out their activity in accordance with contracts, licences and shall be in possession of sanitary, hygienic and ecological certificates complying with the established international standards.
