Abstract
This Law regulates relations originating from formation, functioning and cessation of activity of cooperatives that carry out processing, transformation, trade of industrial, agricultural and other commodities, work, trade, consumer service and other types of activity not prohibited by law. Purposes and types of activity of the cooperatives are determined by their members. Cooperatives are authorized to carry out certain types of activity subject to licensing only in the presence of such licence. The Law consists of 6 sections that contain 29 Articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-5) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts.6-9) establishes the modalities of setting up cooperative. Section 3 (arts.10-13) determines the rights and the duties of the members of cooperative. Section 4 (arts.14-19) regards management of cooperative. Section 5 (arts.20-25) regards property of cooperative. Section 6 (arts.26-29) lays down final provisions.
