Law No. 783 “On concessions”.

This Law regulates relations concerning concessions, and determines the plenary powers of state bodies, terms and conditions of concessions, rights and duties of concessionaires, terms and conditions of concession contracts, and also guarantees of support of concession operations. The Act consists of 5 Sections divided into 22 articles: (1) general provisions; (2) management of concessions and competence of state bodies; (3) terms and conditions of transfer of objects in concession; (4) rights and duties of concessionaire; and (5) conclusive provisions. The principles of concession operations shall include: (a) observance of normative legal acts regulating management of environment, subsoil, water, ecological, sanitary and hygienic safety; and (b) application of ecofriendly processes and manufacturing of ecofriendly products. Concession operations shall be regulated by concession contracts.
