Ministerial Decree No. 120 validating the Regulation on the state forest reserve Zorkul.

The Regulation consists of 3 Sections composed of 23 issues dealing with the following matters: 1) general provisions (sect. 1, issues 1-8); 2) the main tasks of the state forest reserve (sect. 2, issue 9); 3) protection of the state forest reserve (sect. 3, issues 10-23). The state forest reserve Zorkul shall have as its purpose the conservation of rare and endangered animals and plants in their natural habitats. The state forest reserve Zorkul shall have the following tasks: 1) conservation and enrichment of flora and fauna; 2) conservation and renewal of typical natural complexes; 3) study of animals, birds and plants; 4) marking of animals and birds; 4) captive breeding of wild animals and the subsequent release thereof in the natural environment; 5) biotechnological arrangements. Economic activity, recreation and any other activity contrary to the scope of the state forest reserve Zorkul and harmful to environment shall be prohibited. Scientific research, renewal and forest fire prevention activity must not be contrary to the scope of the state forest reserve.
