Abstract
Program of poultry industry development in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2007-2015 has been designed to develop the poultry breeding industry, with a view of increasing national economy, implement the food security program, reduce poverty, and increase the number and productivity of poultry farms. In order to meet the demand of the country’s population of protein nutrition (eggs and dietary meat), poultry farming as fast return investment sector of the country's economic development, playing an important part in the national economy. The Program’s goal is the development of the poultry industry in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2007 - 2015 is to restore the productive capacity of poultry farms, increase the number of all types of poultry, and to produce and process poultry products. The implementation of this Program creates the conditions for creating new jobs, reducing poverty, protecting the population from the spread of infectious diseases, and preventing the importation of low-quality poultry products from abroad.
