Abstract
The Government decrees to validate the Regulation on local land committees. Local committees on land survey are executive bodies in the field of efficient and just regulation of land relations at the local level. Local committees on land survey are sub-divided into provincial, city, district and rural committees and are guided in their activity by the orders and instructions of the State Committee on land survey. The main tasks of the provincial committees on land survey are: a. carrying out state policy in the field of the regulation of land relations, rational use and protection of land, protection and reproduction of soil fertility and improvement of environment; b. carrying out state control over the use and protection of land and observance of land legislation; c. carrying out activity regarding keeping land cadastre, land monitoring and land survey; d. creation of the provincial database on land. The main tasks of city committees on land survey are: a. concession of the plots of land to physical and legal persons; b. protection of the rights of land tenants; c. examination of cases of the infringement of land legislation; d. acknowledgement of land rights.
