Abstract
President, for the purpose of widening introduction of market relations in the sphere of growing, processing and trade of cotton, creation of favourable conditions for efficient functioning of cotton-growing farms and ensuring their economic independence, decrees to stop beginning from the 2002 harvest distribution of cotton fibres and issuing export permits for them. Monopoly concordance of cotton export contracts with joint-stock company “Agroinvestbank” shall be stopped. Assisting banks and their territorial branches shall be granted the right to legalize cotton export contracts. National bank shall ensure control over assisting banks as regards legalization of cotton export contracts. President decrees to establish that cotton-growing farms are free to choose investor and to execute payments in accordance with contracts (agreements) concluded in accordance with Civil Code that are subject to compulsory registration at Tajik universal commodity exchange.
