Water Code of the Republic Tajikistan.

This Water Code, stating general principles of water management in the Republic of Tajikistan, shall be implemented by legislative acts.
The text of the Code consists of 139 articles are divided into 28 Chapters carrying, inter alia, the following titles: Background (Chap. 1); Siting, projecting, construction and putting into operation enterprises, structures and other objects, influencing water conditions (2); Production of works on water objects and in riparian zones (3); Water users and objects of water use (4); Order and conditions of granting water objects use (6); Rights and duties of water users (7); Cessation of water use right (8); Use of water objects for agricultural needs (11); Water objects use for fish economy needs (14); Water objects use for needs of national parks (16); Operation of reservoirs (19); Regulation of the use of interstate water objects (20); Water use of frontier water of the Republic of Tajikistan (21); Settlement of disputes with water users (22); Water protection (23); Prevention and liquidation of harmful impact on waters (24); State accounting and water use planning (25); Responsibility for violation of water legislation (26); International treaties (28).
