Decision No. 02/2024 approving the Three-Year Strategic Plan 2025-2027.

The 2025-2027 Three-Year Strategic Plan (PET) establishes the reference framework for our activities over the next three years. The Plan was drawn up against a backdrop of expectations for the country's development and the positive impacts of ongoing projects on the economy and the sustainability of our public finances. The mission of the Chamber of Accounts is to monitor the legality and regularity of public revenue and expenditure, to judge and issue an opinion on the State's accounts, to assess sound financial management and to enforce liability for financial infractions. It contributes to the sound management of public money, with respect for the principles of transparency and accountability, in defense of all citizens. In PET 2025 to 2027, the following strategic objectives were defined: 1. intensifying financial control over major financial flows and those with greater risk and in strategic sectors (effectiveness); 2. promoting responsibility and strengthening timely and systematic control over the rendering of accounts by public managers (accountability); 3. producing products of increasing quality, timeliness and relevance to public finances and easily perceived by citizens (quality).
