Abstract
This Decree-Law creates the Mining Company of Timor-Leste, S.A. (CMTL). CMTL, S.A. is engaged in carrying out mining activities as defined by law, including recognition, prospecting and research, assessment, development, exploration, treatment, transport and marketing of minerals, as well as activities related to closing mines. CMTL, S.A. may also carry out complementary or ancillary activities to mining activities and activities to provide services related to mining activities, which include, in particular, technical, commercial and management consulting services in the mining sector.
