Abstract
This Decree-Law approves the Ministry of the Interior structure and establishes the 2nd amendment to Decree-Law No. 30/2009 of 18 November on the Migration Service Law. The Ministry of the Interior (MI), is a government department responsible for the design, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the policies defined and approved by the Council of Ministers for the areas of internal security, migration and asylum, border control, civil protection, road safety and police cooperation, which defines its duties and regulates the Higher Directorate of Bodies and Services and its administrative organization. It amends the Law of the Migration Service (SM) in the subordination of the SM to the member of the Government with competencies in the area of internal security.
