Abstract
This Decree-Law establishes the Ministry of Rural Development and Community Housing (MDRHC). The Ministry is the government department responsible for the design, execution, coordination and evaluation of policies, defined and approved by the Council of Ministers for areas aimed to improve living conditions, opportunities and accessibility in rural areas, development of initiatives that promote the diversification of activities, creation of jobs in rural areas, with a view to consolidating its productive fabric.
