This Government Resolution approves the opening of areas for carrying out mining activities and approving the terms of reference for the tender for the attribution of mining rights for exploration and production of construction materials in three concession areas. The Government resolves, under the terms of article 116 of the Constitution and articles 8 and 10 of the Mining Code, approved by Law No. 12/2021 of 30 June the following: to open areas in the national territory, which are mapped in Annex I, for carrying out mining activities for materials, classified as industrial materials, construction materials, taking into account the restrictions contained in the provisions of article 58 of the Mining Code. In addition, it approves the terms of reference for opening a tender for the attribution of mining rights for the exploration and production of building materials in three concession areas, proposed by the Minister of Petroleum and Minerals, which constitute annex II.
