Ministerial Order No. 1/2026 approving the Regulation on the Transport and Export of Mineral Samples.

This Miinisterial Order establishes the rules, procedures, and documentary and technical requirements applicable to the Transport and Export of Mineral Samples collected in the course of Mining Activities. It applies to all Mining Rights Holders and other entities authorised under the Mining Code to hold, transport and export Mineral Samples for laboratory testing and metallurgical analysis during the prospecting, research, evaluation and exploration phases. Mineral Samples are considered non-commercial materials, strictly limited to the minimum quantities reasonably necessary for the intended testing and analysis purposes, and any subsequent use or disposal must comply with this Order and the Mining Code, approved by Law No. 12/2021 of 30 June 2021.
