Ministerial Order No. 39/2024 establishing the Regulation of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment.

This Ministerial Order establishes the Regulation and the new organizational structure of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment (MTA), approved by Decree-Law No. 78/2023 of 11 October. It implies the need to enshrine a set of services and organizational units that are indispensable for the proper performance of this Ministry's services. The purpose of this Regulation is to create the departments and the corresponding management positions of the Ministry of Tourism and the Environment (MTA). The departments are central services of the MTA integrated into the National Directorates and headed by Heads of Department, who are appointed to this position under the terms of the public administration's management and leadership regime and are directly subordinate to the respective National Directors.
