Ministerial Order No. 45/2024 approving the Model for Environmental Licence Certificate for Oil Operations.

The Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MPRM), under the terms of Decree-Law No. 46/2023 of 28 July and Decree-Law No. 59/2023 of 6 September, is the government department responsible for managing mineral resources, including petroleum, as well as the licensing and regulation of mining extractive activities, and the industrial activity of improving oil and natural gas (including corresponding environmental licences). Therefore, this Ministerial Order creates in the Annex the model for the Environmental Licence Certificate for Oil Operations, under the provisions of article 23 of Decree-Law No. 39/2022 of 8 June, amending Decree-Law No. 5/2011 of 9 February.
