Ministerial Order No. 46/2024 establishing Internal Regulations of MPRM.

The organic structure of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MPRM), resulting from the approval of Decree-Law No. 59/2023 of 6 September, imposes the need to enshrine in a Ministerial Order a set of fundamental services and organic units for the proper performance of this Ministry's duties and competences. With this legal instrument, the Ministry is equipped with the regulatory mechanisms it needs to function properly, taking into account, on the one hand, the budget available for this purpose, but also the indispensable consent of the Civil Service Commission. These internal regulations establish the structure and competences of the organizational units that make up the services defined in the Law of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources (MPRM). The MPRM's services have the general remit of supporting the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources in pursuing the development of the mission assigned to it by law.
