Abstract
This Ministerial Order regulates registration, possession and use of chainsaw machines. In particular, it defines the rules for the registration of non-electric chainsaw machines, with the General Directorate of Forests, Coffee and Industrial Plants, (National Technical Registry), and the licensing for possession and use of chainsaw machines, under the terms of Law No. 14/2017 of 2 August relating to the General Forestry Regime. It aims to promote the protection and conservation of forestry resources for the benefit of future generations. It applies to all natural or, public or private persons, who own non-electric chainsaw machines and perform tree cutting in Timor-Leste.
