Law amending Law "On state registration of rights to immovable property and transactions related thereto".

Article 54 shall be amended to add the following wording: “For the state registration of the right to immovable property of persons, owners, managers, leaseholders of immovable property establishing the title to such property as they own, dispose of, or which they rent, shall be considered: (a) decisions of head of local government on granting a land plot in ownership, lease, documents for the right to use land plots issued by State commissions on land issues in Turkmenistan; (b) state act on the right of ownership of the land plot, state act on the right to use the land, certificate on the right to lease of land; (c) resolution of head of local government (other documents issued in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan on the acceptance for use of residential housing facility or building (other real estate object); (d) inventory of immovable property prepared by the technical inventory body; (e) other documents issued in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan which was in force at the time of the origin of the right. If the above documents have been drawn up earlier, but actually are not available (lost, damaged and other cases), duplicates of these documents shall be issued; in the absence of the possibility of issuing duplicates, the new documents must be issued and registered by the institutions, after which relevant acts are issued in accordance with the legislation of Turkmenistan.”
