Law "On external economic activity".

The scope of this Law shall be to ensure terms and conditions for efficient integration of Turkmenistan in global economy, stimulation of the development of national economy and ensuring economic security of Turkmenistan. The main directions of external economic activity shall be as follows: (a) international economic and financial cooperation; (b) external trade; (c) attraction of foreign investments; and (d) investments outside Turkmenistan. In particular Turkmenistan shall perform international cooperation in the sphere of tourism and ecology. State regulation of external economic activity shall include: (a) certification of produce and services; (b) approval of sanitary, veterinary, phytosanitary and ecological requirements.
