Abstract
The present Law is aimed at safeguarding the constitutional right of citizens to protection of human health. Protection of public health is carrying out sanitary and hygienic, recreational and anti-epidemic arrangements for the purpose of ensuring physical and psychic health of each single citizen (art. 1). The Cabinet of Ministers shall carry out the following functions in the sphere of the protection of public health: 1) management and regulation in the sphere of sanitary protection of the national territory, nature management, environmental protection and ecological safety; 2) organization of activity aimed at ensuring sanitary and ecological well-being of the population (art. 7).
