Abstract
The present Law regulates legal, economic, social and organizational basis of tourism and tourist activity on the territory of Turkmenistan. The document consists of VII Sections that contain 26 Articles. SecI (arts. 1-4) lays down general provisions. Sec.II (Arts.5-8) regards state regulation if the sphere of tourism. Sec.III (Arts.9-12) specifies tourist activity. Sec.IV (Arts.13-17) establishes the modalities of concluding contracts and the terms and conditions of their fulfilment by tourist organizations (enterprises). Sec.V (Arts.18-21) determines legal status of tourists on the territory of Turkmenistan. Sec.VI (Arts.22-23) regards environmental protection, protection cultural heritage in the process of tourist activity. Sec.VII (Arts.24-26) regards international activity of Turkmenistan in the sphere of tourism.
