Abstract
This Order aims to ensure epidemiological safety for visitors and staff. They establish mandatory requirements for all legal entities and individuals involved in designing, building, renovating, and operating water parks, with a focus on preventing infectious and parasitic diseases transmitted through water, aerosols, and wet surfaces, as well as harmful chemical exposure.
The sanitary rules set detailed requirements for the location, design, and infrastructure of water parks. They regulate zoning, minimum sanitary protection distances from residential and social facilities, internal layout (changing rooms, showers, pools), flooring safety, heating, ventilation, lighting, noise levels, and the provision of medical and laboratory facilities. The document also defines technical and hygienic standards for different types of pools (children’s, swimming, recreation, hydromassage), including pool water surface per person and temperature ranges. Strict rules apply to materials, equipment, and separation of clean and contaminated zones to support effective cleaning and disinfection.
A substantial part of the document addresses water treatment, quality control, and sanitary supervision. It mandates continuous water circulation systems, limits water replacement intervals, and allows specific disinfection methods such as chlorination, ozonation, and ultraviolet treatment, with backup measures when primary systems fail. Annexes specify microbiological, chemical, and physical water quality standards and monitoring frequencies. The rules also require daily cleaning and regular disinfection, staff medical examinations, pest control, internal production monitoring programs, and clear user regulations. Water park operations must be suspended if sanitary violations threaten public health, and results of laboratory monitoring must be regularly reported to sanitary authorities.
