Abstract
This Act amends section 26(2) of the Aquaculture Management Act 2003 by inserting the words "or the Waste Management Act 2005" after the words "subsection (1)". Section 26 prescribes that the Minister may require by notice a holder of a licence to take specified measures to minimize pollution caused by aquaculture including the discharge of effluent. "Effluent" shall now also be defined by the Waste Management Act 2005.
