Abstract
This Act includes dispositions related to customs and excise, import and export. It includes fourteen parts: preliminary part; customs control; arrival and departure of aircraft and ships; clearance of imported goods; exportation of goods by air and sea; import and export by post; temporary importations and prohibited and restricted imports and exports; inter-island and costal trade; customs securities; warehouses and approved places; powers of officers; customs penalties and offences; seizure and forfeiture; legal proceedings; customs brokers; and administration.

Entry into force notes
In force on a date to be proclaimed by His Majesty in Council which shall be the same day as the Customs Act 2007 and the Excise Tax Act 2007 and different Parts may be brought into effect on different dates.
