Plant Quarantine (Amendment) Act, 2009 (No. 21 of 2009).

This Act amends the Plant Quarantine Act by inserting a new section (40A), which requires that all permits, certificates, authorisations, controls, requirements and prohibitions applied or imposed under the principal Act and relating to living modified organisms, to be issued or imposed in accordance with the Biosafety Act and any applicable decision of the National Biosafety Advisory Committee.
