Abstract
This Act makes provision with respect to measures for the inspection, quarantine and treatment of vessels, persons, goods and things for purposes of prevention of the introduction or spreading of diseases or pests affecting human beings.
The Prime Minister may make Regulations prescribing all matters which by this Act are required or permitted to be prescribed including prescribing the precautions in respect to any kind of animals or insects liable to convey disease. The Act also provides for disinfecting and other treatment of vessels and imported goods.
