Registration of Environmental Impact Assessment Consultant's Regulations 2021.

These Regulations lay down rules for the certification of EIA consultants; application and evaluation processes for an EIA Consultant Certificate; categories of consultants; composition of an EIA study team; responsibilities of the principal, senior and assistant consultants; contents of the Register and its amendment; de-registration and non-renewal of registration of EIA consultants; and offences and penalties. Schedule I lists the areas of expertise, including but not limited to: agriculture, livestock, food, waste management, mining, marine areas, chemicals, forestry, energy, air pollution, noise pollution, and water desalination.
