Tonga Deepwater Fishery Management and Development Plan 2024-2026.

The Tonga Deepwater Fishery Management and Development Plan is a national policy that provides guidance for the conservation, management, sustainable use and development of Tonga's deepwater fisheries resources. The Plan applies to the deepwater finfish fishery within the Tongan EEZ. The goal of the Plan is to achieve an ecologically and economically sustainable managed deepwater fishery to enhance food security and livelihoods and maximize benefits for the people of Tonga.
