Abstract
Regulations to control hunting and to protect animals. The Regulations are completed by 2 Schedules: Form of State Game Licence (1); Acknowledgement of Release of Protected Animal (2)). The First Schedule contains the compulsory form for licences issued under section 6 of the principal Act (reg. 3). All other hunting methods as a trap cage measuring not less than one cubic foot shall be used for the hunting of birds (reg. 4). Hunting with hunting lights, purchase, sale or exposing of sale of any animal referred to in the Second Schedule to the Act, or hunting of those animals in any Forest Reserve between certain hours, is prohibited (regs. 5-7). Holding of protected animals in captivity requires a permit pursuant to regulation 9. Other provisions deal with sale of protected animals, powers of game wardens or the Magistrate and additional protection of birds.
